Sketch2Scale prepares drawings to scale from the information you send us. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email, phone number and suburb, when you send a job through the form or email us
- The files you upload: sketches, photos, plans and notes about your job
- Your property address and measurements, if you book a measure-up
- Payment records: what you were charged, how and when you paid. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that identify you.
How we use it
Only to quote, prepare, deliver and invoice your job, and to answer your questions about it. We don't sell your details, add you to a mailing list, or use your drawings as examples without your written permission, and then only with names and addresses removed.
Who we share it with
Nobody, unless your job needs it or the law requires it. For example, if you ask us to send drawings to your builder, building surveyor or council, we will.
We use Google services (Drive, Sheets and Gmail) to receive and store job files and emails. Google may store this data on servers outside Australia. If you pay by card, Stripe processes the payment and receives your card details, name and email under its own privacy policy, and may also store data outside Australia. The website is hosted by a website hosting provider, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address when the page loads.
How we keep it safe and for how long
Files are kept in a private business Google account protected with 2-step verification. We keep job files and records for up to 7 years after the job, so we can answer questions about your drawings and meet tax record-keeping rules, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your files sooner, unless we need to keep records by law.
Accessing or correcting your details
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete them. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
